Performance, Emission, and Study of DI Diesel Engine Running on Pumpkin Seed Oil Methyl Ester with the Effect of Copper Oxide Nanoparticles as an Additive

The usage of petroleum fuels in IC engines is hazardous to humans, plants, and agriculture since they exhaust poisonous pollutants into the environment. Substantial research now being conducted identify an alternative fuel enhance its quality. Nanoparticles are a relatively new technology that may be used improve properties fuel. Engine tests were performed on conventional CI using diesel biodiesel blend under different running circumstances. purpose this study investigate performance, emissions, combustion characteristics pumpkin seed oil methyl ester (PSOME20) engine with help copper oxide nanoparticle. CuO nanoparticles varying concentrations (50 100 ppm) dispersed PSOME20 results showed BTE PSOME20CuO100 2.3% higher than fuel, but reduction BSFC 6.4%. HC, CO, smoke emissions significantly minimized when mixed PSOME20. addition enhanced behaviors such as HRR cylinder pressure.
